why aren’t we talking more about this. this is my new favorite historical inaccuracy in the show. the reason it’s a cliche to get a steak out of the freezer to put on a black eye is because IT WAS IN THE FREEZER and it’s a large cold object that will thaw slowly while you ice the injury. it’s not because raw meat has healing properties. i’m pretty sure there is no icebox on the revenge. that is room temperature meat. stede is just putting raw meat on his face for no reason.
